Marine Structural Design Draughtsmen

Experienced Marine Structural Design Draughtsmen are often in short supply in South Africa. We welcome submissions from suitably qualified individuals for future consideration.

Requirements

  • Experience with Classification Society rule-based ship design
  • Strong 2D detailing for fabrication
  • Knowledge of structural design and strength of materials
  • Relevant technical qualification (technician level or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed 2D fabrication drawings
  • Prepare drawings for Class approval and construction
  • Contribute to structural design processes
